After three SUVs, now the Jet Edition of Tata Nexon EV launched,

Tata Motors (Tata Motors) has launched the Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition (Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition) in India at a starting price of Rs 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the XZ+ Lux Prime Jet variant. The Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition will be available in two more variants – XZ+ Lux MAX Jet and XZ+ Lux MAX Jet AC FC WMU, priced at Rs 19.54 lakh and Rs 20.04 lakh (both ex-showroom) respectively.
The Jet Edition is a new special edition addition to the SUV lineup of Tata Motors that was launched a few days back. The company had earlier launched jet editions of Nexon, Harrier and Safari models and now the Tata Nexon EV has also been added to the lineup. According to Tata Motors, the Jet Edition is based on the business jet with the intention of making the cars a more luxurious and luxurious experience than the standard variant. The Jet Edition is available in both the Nexon EV MAX and Nexon EV Prime.
The special dual-tone paint scheme in the new shade of Starlite, which the company has named as Starlite, is the new feature of the Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition line that grabs your attention. The platinum silver roof in this car blends effectively with a gray bronze color. Depending on the amount of light in the area and/or excessive brightness, one can also assume that the car’s roof is white in colour.
The Tata Nexon and Nexon EV get jet black alloy wheels, matte black writing on the boot lid, and silver skid plates that adorn the front and rear bumpers as opposed to the new paint job. Roof rails in Granite Black and Belt Lines on each side are also available in Satin Granite Black. Unlike the dark chrome EV badging that is exclusive to the EV model, it also gets a ‘Jet’ badge on the front fenders.
A mild interior upgrade for the Nexon EV Jet Edition includes a dual-tone interior in Oyster White and Granite Black, bronze color on the dashboard, which is also featured on the car door handles. The upholstery of all the five seats comes in Oyster White color with Contrast Bronze Stitching. Only the front seat headrests have been embroidered with ‘JET’ written on it.
The Nexon EV Max uses a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers an ARAI-certified range of 437 km on a single full charge (under standard test conditions). It powers a permanent magnet synchronous AC motor. In which the output of 141 bhp and 250 Nm is available. This car accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 9 seconds.
The Nexon EV Max comes with either a 3.3 kW charger or a 7.2 kW AC fast charger. The latter can fully charge the car’s battery in 6.5 hours. Using a 50 kW DC fast charger, the car can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 56 minutes.
The Nexon EV Prime comes with multi-mode regen, cruise control, indirect tire pressure monitoring system (iTPMS), smartwatch integrated connectivity features and charging timeout of 110 seconds. It uses a 127 bhp electric motor that is powered by a 30.2 kWh battery pack. Which is claimed to give a maximum range of 312 km (ARAI certified).
